Maybe this will help in the mean while.

If you use FireFox you can change the background and the font and font colors to your liking.
To change them in FireFox, Tools, Options, Content (under advanced, uncheck the Allow pages to change fonts)
Do this also under Colors uncheck Allow pages to change colors.

(This will allow you to change the defaults for every site) not just Twickerz.

Hoop you find a setting that is to your liking.

I have the same problem like you before,
my brother taught me to use Ctrl+ to zoom in and Ctrl- to zoom out in my web browser.
and the result, you will see big images not only the text according to your satisfaction.

this will surely help.
